Learning and Development...

Helena Partnerships’ excellent reputation for the delivery of learning and development to its employees and our partners is based on our ability to understand the needs of people, the teams they work in and our organisation and beyond. We are proud to be an accredited centre for the delivery of Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) programmes as well as being an accredited Investor in People.  

As a new employee you will find a broad range of opportunities you can access to gain and develop the skills and knowledge you require to do your job well, be that management or customer skills, health & safety or information technology. Our Learning and Development team plan, facilitate and develop internal programmes and provide support to you along the way.  

Our corporate calendar of events offers opportunities for all based on both individual and organisational needs and strategy. We also offer bespoke programmes focussed on developing our teams.  

Training can be delivered in classroom-based workshops, practical ‘on site’ sessions, or via on the job coaching and shadowing. Our successes to date include: 

  • 60 ILM qualified coaches across the organisation
  • 67 employees have achieved ILM Team Leader programme
  • 32 CITB trained site managers
  • 9 CACDP British Sign Language Level 1 qualified employees
  • Over 100 first-aiders
  • 66 employees have completed the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) qualification
